Origins
I was born and raised in the canyon and valley of Los Angeles, California where I spent most of my days in the sun or within the walls of a studio. I spent 10 years competing at a world championship level of Irish dance followed by a BFA in Modern Dance from Point Park University. During my undergraduate studies, I spent a semester studying at Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds, UK. Post graduation, I attended Nuova x professional dance program at NOD officina della danza in Torino, IT. Now I can be found as a freelance artist based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Inspiration
Inspiration for me is an amalgamation of my evolving curiosities and questions of identity and perception. I am fascinated by fantasy and indulging in worlds through research and new understandings in order to entice viewers into the worlds which we embody.
My interests lie in the endless possibilities of allowing the many disciplines and techniques of my body's history to interact and inform each other to create new, unexpected and innovative work.
Practices
I love to move and create in any and every way possible. I am a Certified 200 hr RYT and Yoga Sculpt instructor as well as a level 2 attuned reiki practitioner and am in constant search of new ways to move. For me, movement is a form of healing, expression, connection, and is something that cannot be taken for granted. I desire to move anywhere and everywhere I can.
